CNC precision turning

When I arrived at work this morning, I noticed one of my employees was using a CNC precision turning machine to create a component. I asked my employee if he knew the history of the CNC machine and he didn’t. This inspired me to create a blog post with a bit of information about the history of the CNC machine.

The first CNC machine was invented in the late 1950’s by a man called John T. Parsons. This fantastic machine that Mr Parsons invented revolutionised the manufacturing industry and the way we work today. There are many advantages that come with using a CNC machine and only a couple of disadvantages.
